First, thank you so much for serving. Second, I agree with all of your points. I especially agree that people can either make excuses or make something happen; I have to remind myself of this all the time. They key is to find or create a situation in life that allows and encourages success (your first point) and then run with it. If you aren’t in that sort of situation, you have the power to change it. Thank you for being a mentor in my business; one of the people who helps and supports me.

This ties in nicely with your last post. It’s funny how self-improvement really can come down to just three things; perhaps only just one (LIVE) if you think about it. So many people make excuses and blame other people or circumstances for being unhappy, when really everything begins with oneself. Thank you for helping to keep us focused.

Thanks for the tips, Chuck. My husband and I are really trying to simplify things this year while maintaining the same standard of living. We are trying to reduce our living expenses for one; not by moving, but by cutting utility and upkeep costs. Who really needs someone to clean and take care of the lawn? It’s simply amazing how much money we have wasted in the past. We will see how it goes.
